“…Words don’t do justice to the embodiment of peace
I got toby the end of that first session…”
Daily life can be challenging. Work, family life, the situation in the world … It can drag us down and pull us away from ourselves. It seems everything is changing and sometimes it feels like our world is upside down.
And yet, even in times of external chaos and uncertainty it is comforting to know that you can still find peace within yourself and stand in your own strength. If you can realign with your true nature by tapping into deeper levels of yourself. Beyond emotions, thoughts and judgments you will be able to observe what is going on around you and navigate any storm. Horses and nature can help…
Interacting with horses can provide insights in your daily life patterns and shine a light on thoughts, emotions and believes that you are unaware of.
By walking and talking with you in nature, along forest pathways or near the sea– with no family or work distractions – you can gain fresh, more empowering perspectives on your life’s challenges, whatever the challenges are.
How do I do this? When I coach with the horses I observe and reflect what I see happening in the field with you and with the horses. During a walk and talk session, I listen to your story, act as a sounding board and try to find -with you- which thoughts trigger certain emotions.
By inviting these emotions to the surface you may be able to release them and this can lead to becoming aware of barriers you may have that block you from your happiness and well-being. And that could be a starting point to change and realign with your true nature and natural flow.
I may not give you answers but will guide and enable you to raise your awareness so that you yourself can access and find your own answers.

About
Diana Mosterd
I discovered the beauty of horses at a young age, their presence has always brought out a kind of magical feeling in me.
During my early career as a video producer, camera operator and later teacher, I found relaxation and peace with horses. They not only brought me back to myself after a busy day at work; they also offered me insights into my life experiences and emotions that enabled me to continue relaxed, inspired and in balance.
As I grew as a person, I became aware of my high sensitivity. It was something that had actually “bothered” me. Slowly but surely I have come to see it as a gift. It is inspiring to guide other highly sensitive people and it is also special to see that people can become more sensitive, calmer and more relaxed while working with horses. This creates greater awareness, which is especially valuable and helpful in these challenging times.
As a coach, I act as a sounding board and guide your process in uncovering and removing mental and emotional blockages so that you regain your trust in yourself, and start living from authenticity. My Dutch roots gave me a straightforward way of communicating. I always work from a source of unconditional love, with curiosity and with an open mind and heart.

Equine-Assisted Coaching, life coaching with the help of horses
Would you like to gain insights in your repeating thoughts and patterns? Maybe the horses can help you to reconnect with your true nature.
Horses are sensitive beings. They are authentic and they live and act in the “now”. They communicate without words. Subtle but clear. Their communication is vital in the wild. Horses are herd animals and may be preyed upon by other animals. For them, poor communication means an unsafe situation.
Horses speak to us and respond to us without words. They pay attention to our body language, our emotions and our energy. This makes them particularly perceptive coaches whilst also providing an emotionally safe environment.
They often know how to get to the bottom of things quickly. They don’t judge and they can hold up a mirror and anticipate us. This mirror can be very beautiful and enlightening and sometimes a bit confrontational . Connecting with a horse always provides insights that can start or expand your journey of self-discovery.
How does a coaching session with horses work?
Equine Assisted Coaching is experience- and solution oriented. Working with horses opens a space for creativity and improvisation. What you experience with the horses can be linked back to your daily life.
A coaching session always takes place alongside the horse. As an Equine Assisted coach, I bring you into appropriate contact with the horse; I observes what is happening and reflect what I perceive. No riding or other horse experience is necessary.
I work with various horses and ponies. All the horses and ponies live in groups, outside in the paddock or meadow as much as possible. This is essential for their mental and physical health.
Who?
I coach people who feel a bit stuck in daily life or bump in to the same challenges on a regular base. Current times require inner balance and I believe that if we reconnect with ourselves we can get acces again to our inner compass which can help us find peace of mind and heart and can guide us through challenging moments and occasions. The horses and me are happy to assist you through this process.

COACHING IN NATURE
Working with the healing and transformational power of Nature
When we are surrounded by magnificent trees, open fields or beautiful sea energy, breathing the fresh air of nature, we can more easily come to a place of calm and inner peace.
In Japan, it is exemplified by Forest Bathing. Forest Bathing has nothing to do with bathing in water. It is a way to be purified and cleansed by the power of nature, the energy of the trees and plants.
Coaching in nature or, as I call it, “walk and talk coaching” is coaching on the move. During a walk and talk session, the emphasis is on slowing down and grounding. I alternate talking with silence, meditation and observation. Sometimes it only takes a few words to gain insights or to break through a certain (thinking or emotional) pattern. Getting the right balance between conversation and silence is often essential. In the silence you can find both peace and strength and so be at greater ease with everyday challenges or stressful situations
The role of trees and plants in this process cannot be underestimated. Trees and plants are without judgment, are not distracted by ego or emotions and yet they have a consciousness and an energy that can powerfully assist healing and purifying, and allow you to raise your awareness from the head to the heart.
Locations In Scotland I walk and talk in beautiful locations in or near Moray, in forests, on secluded paths and beaches, and also alongside the Findhorn river.
A coaching-in-nature session lasts approximately 1.5 hours and takes place in the Netherlands at various locations near Rotterdam and Vlaardingen.
